Making Welfare Work

At Digital Solutions, we play a crucial role in the digitalisation of Danish society, overseeing systems that ensure financial security for the benefit of all – from each individual to society as a whole.

Through our efforts, we have contributed to positioning Denmark as a global frontrunner when it comes to digitalisation in the public sector.

Operations

Ensuring Systems that Run Smoothly

As part of Operations, you will provide a solid foundation for all digital development across the organisation, ensuring secure and reliable operation of our systems.

Before we can progress and develop new solutions, cornerstones such as stability, security, governance and compliance must be thoroughly in place.

This is the foundation for all digital development across ATP, which is why we work to ensure all systems run smoothly. And if they do not – we make them.

We know what it takes to drive change through technology, and we ensure that complex information can be readily understood so that colleagues and end-users can reach their goals.

A digital solution is valuable only if implemented and in use.

Technology

Setting New Standards

While we shape technology, it also shapes us. We can only influence which direction technology will take us by utilising it, which is precisely what we do.

In the Technology unit, we adopt a strategic approach to the use of technology and in designing suitable solutions.

Entrepreneurship runs in our veins, and we proactively test new technologies that help streamline processes for our colleagues and contribute to ensuring even better user experiences.

We integrate architecture into critical welfare solutions and serve as counsellors to the management. In doing so, we not only chart ATP's course regarding new technology but also help establish new benchmarks for digitalisation within the public sector.

Data

In Service of Society and the Individual

Data can be used in many ways.

In the Data unit, we use data for the benefit of all—from each individual to society at large. For example, we use data to improve a user experience or to optimise the efficiency of our systems.

With great amounts of data comes great responsibility. Data is knowledge, and knowledge is our most valuable tool when developing personalised and automated solutions or when we feed data to algorithms that ensure that welfare and social security benefits reach those who need them the most.

It is not just about working with data but making data work for us. This is to guarantee that society can make the most of the data we, as Denmark’s largest databank, have at our fingertips.

Development

For the Future and Today

In the Development unit, we design critical solutions on a national scale that make society work, such as ensuring the secure and reliable transfer of funds between businesses, citizens and the central government.

We work in agile, self-managing teams and hold responsibility for all in-house development, collaborating closely with specialists from various departments within the organisation.

Our technological professionalism is extensive, and we continuously develop each other's competencies and abilities. With more than 200 IT specialists gathered under one roof, there is ample opportunity for professional discussion and for bringing out your inner geek.

Delivery

A Focus on End-to-End Deliveries

In the Delivery unit, we test, manage and support all imaginable types of projects.

Whether leading internal initiatives within ATP, providing counselling to the organisation or assuming responsibility when working with external IT suppliers, our management capabilities are the decisive factor in every project’s heartbeat.

We focus on end-to-end deliveries and take the lead in choosing delivery methods, defining requirements, testing solutions and ensuring a seamless transition from development to the operational phase.
